Chun-Yi Lee is Associate Professor in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. She is also Director of the university's Taiwan Studies Program, and a board member of the European Association of Taiwan Studies.

Chun-Yi's first book, Taiwanese Business or Chinese Security Asset?, was published by Routledge in 2011. Her current research focuses on digital democracy in Taiwan, and Taiwan's role in the global semiconductor supply chain. This latter topic will be the focus of her second book, which is in preparation.
